Plates
A permanent committee position of Club Plate Registrar exists to manage the
scheme and this position is held by Les Johnson who is seen in the picture
below in his 1924 Silver Ghost at the Club’s 30th Anniversary Event in the
Southern Highlands.
The policy guidelines booklet can be downloaded here.
To qualify for club plates your car must be 30 years old and be unmodified.
The scheme is highly attractive in that the cost of registration and insurance
are dramatically reduced. You can only use you car on club runs and to get
mechanical work completed ... additionally, the TSCC is an RMS approved
club to participate in the scheme.
PLEASE NOTE THAT IF YOUR MEMBERSHIP HAS LAPSED THEN YOUR CAR IS
UNREGISTERED.
